The pendant is about 1-3/4" in diameter and holds an 1898 Indian Head Penny in a gold-plated pendant with colored stones. The penny is in good condition with the date and words clearly legible. Attached to the pendant is a gold-plated chain about 22" long. As the box indicates, the pendant was marketed by Rafael Creations sometime in the 70s or 80s. The original price in the box is $24.50, and as you can see, I have not included much for appreciation for 40 years since the original purchase. The penny alone is now worth $10-$15.
