Foam surrounds on bass speakers have deteriorated. Easily replaced, replacements cost about $10 a pair (and up).
I played them at very high volume and they sound fine, no bass issues audible. I'd been using them like this and very happy with the sound as is.
Black wood grain finish. Finish and cabinet in good cosmetic condition.
