One side has a faux sueded finish, which is visible if you look closely at the photos.
If you don't like the color no problem, just put it inside a king size duvet/comforter cover, which are designed for these kinds of blankets to make it easier to keep clean.( It's like putting a pillowcase around the down comforter and you can get them in any color or finish you want.) This was very gently used in a non-smoking home.
I'm in the process of moving and down sizing and no longer need it. (These retail for a couple of hundred dollars when new in this size and thickness.)
It has recently been washed and dried properly.
