I'm the original owner and have only played this at home. I bought it to try out a baritone and it’s cool, but not for me. The only issue I’m aware of is some rattle on the low B string. I'm sure it's fixable by someone who cares enough to dial in the setup.
Everything is stock except for these modifications:
- Pickguard: swapped out original white for black
- String tree: installed a Fender Tele "button" string guide (drop-in replacement)
- Tuners: installed Kluson Locking Revolution Series H-Mount tuners with staggered posts (drop-in replacement)
- Bridge pickup height screws: not original because the originals got lost in the shuffle of trying to install a modern style plate with a 6-saddle bridge…it was a whole ordeal I ultimately gave up on because it wasn’t going to be a simple drop-in replacement.
