I also have a 2005 Mini Cooper R50 w/ 6 Speed Getrag Swap 161k Miles, fair condition, no rust, *no longer running. Currently a project car.
One code: Heated O2 Sensor.

Carpet was cut and removed (flooded from disconnected sunroof drain hose). Dried and tossed back in. Both hoses have been fixed, no leaks.
Front seats are not oem. I would recommend replacing them if you want heated seats to work.
I got this car on a trade not running. I got it running, then messed up the timing while repairing the harmonic balancer.. It did run great, shifted fine, moved fine, etc. It went from fully drivable to a lawn ornament within minutes because I cranked the engine without the balancer on, which apparently holds the crankshaft and timing sprocket together with friction. This is a project again.
Possible that it needs the timing adjusted, or the valves are bent. No clue. Done messing with it.
